The Grantee, "William Reedaker" and  "H. H. Binkley" the Grantor appear to enter into agreement on May 8th, 1860, Deed book A, page 591. This record is also held at the Cheatham County "Register of Deeds Office."

(Part 1)"Deed's Found for William R Rediker"

                      On 29 Oct 2012, I went to the Deed's office in Cheatham County, Tennessee, USA. The records I was most interested in were for, William R Rediker, he was my (paternal) 2x Great Grandfather. I located many good records in all, and a substantial amount of records for my person of interest. 
                      First thing I did was ask the lady in the deed's office where I could review the Grantor's and Grantee's Indexes from 1856 to 1880. She led me to a desk, retrieved the indexes in question. She asked, "What people are you searching for." I said, "mainly Rediker's, Binkley's, Barnes's, Newman's, Darrow's, & Bennett's, as well as a few others."
She then said, "Well, I'll let you get to it then."

                        I then opened the index of deeds book to the (R) section and immediately saw one of the names I was looking for.

Jason Burton Rediker (36); passed away on 25 Oct 2012 at 7:45 pm in Ashland City, Cheatham, Tennessee due to Respiratory Failure. He leaves behind,(Wife) Christie Diane (Harris) Rediker(36),(S Dau.) Samantha Maria (14), & (S Dau.) Kileigh Corrine (9), (Father) Jack Burton Rediker, (Sis)Cathy Faye (Rediker) Crum, (Bro)Jackie Allen Rediker, (Sis)Leigh (Rediker) Knight, (Bro) Ezri Justin Rediker,

 as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and lifetime friends. Jason enjoyed building things, art, going to church, & spending time with his family & friends. His early departure leaves his Family in disbelief. Jason was preceded in death by his (Mother) Patricia Faye Lannom in 2006. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday 31 Oct 2012 at 2 pm at the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ,  5444 U.S. 41 Alternate Joelton, TN.

"James Dwight Rediker, passed 18 Oct 1993"

                      My Sister Teddie and her Husband Bobby, came into the restaurant where my Dad and I were eating dinner at around 7:00 PM. She informed us that Uncle Dwight had passed away. My Uncle Dwight had been driving his Semi-Truck cross-country for a few years, accompanied by my Aunt Linda.
 The story of his passing was hard for everyone to bear as he was so young, only 48 years young.
                      Uncle Dwight and Aunt Linda were in  Umatilla, Oregon, USA when he passed away. The information that I heard was that he pulled to the side of the road and told my Aunt Linda to call 911, and that was his final words. I'm not sure if this was all he said, everything was secondhand information at the time. I loved my Uncle Dwight and wish he were still with us today.
